My TED Talk

TED Talk Reflection:
I think that TED talks are a great way to get a message across to a large group of people. They are enticing and interesting, often producing and getting across a positive message. I think that they are an effective way for individuals to learn about other individuals and their stories. I have watched several TED talks regarding mental health, personal struggles, important days as well as disability, and every time I watch, I gain a little more knowledge on a topic. In today's society, with children and youth having access to the internet 24/7, I think it's important that children have access to videos like this, to learn about topics that they might know nothing about.

I would definitely recommend using TED talks in the classroom, and I will be using them in my future classroom as well. They are easy to record and fun to make, and can be quickly plugged into iMovie or any other movie making software.
